Our Youth Group is open to young people grades 8 through 12. From September through May we meet twice a month (on the first and third Wednesday of the month) for dinner, fun, fellowship, fun, relevant discussion, and fun. Did we mention the part about it being fun? We also have one monthly outing, usually on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon, where we venture out for selfish amusement or selfless service in Jesus' name.


St Matthias' Youth Group is heading to New Orleans

On June 17, 2006, a team of young people from St Matthias' will travel to the hurricane ravaged city of New Orleans, Louisiana. There, they will work with Wonder Voyage Missions to provide relief to those hit hardest by Hurricane Katrina and to rebuild some vital ministries which provide services to the poor of that city.

Their fund-raising efforts began with the "Golf for the Gulf" tournament on October 29. Thanks to all who support this event. A great time was had by all, and the folks at Indian Creek Golf Club in Carrollton were amazing!
